UX & UI Audit

I conducted a UX review, identifying pain points and gaps in best practices. I documented and presented key insights to the team, highlighting improvement opportunities.

Usability Testing

I conducted usability testing on key user journeys, using task-based scenarios and targeted questions to identify patterns. I then analysed the results and presented key insights to stakeholders.

Competitor Analysis

I created a competitor matrix to assess features across Birkbeck's top competitors, identifying opportunities to improve the user experience and competitive stance.

User Journey Mapping

I created user stories for each key journey, mapped flows to find pain points, and re-mapped journeys to improve usability for each user story.

Focused UX review

I reviewed each page in key user journeys to prevent content duplication, improve layouts, enhance components, and apply UX best practices.

UI Design

Based on my UX review of key user journey pages, I redesigned each one within CMS limitations to improve the user experience.

Results

All UX research was documented, along with a separate design guide outlining global guidelines and step-by-step page updates within CMS limitations
